Lusófona University hosted the 2nd LTTA from the “Language Development Through Digital Tools project” (2020-1-SE01-KA226-SCH092570). The training on “Learning the MOOC Platform” was held between 28th February to 4th March and was delivered by our amazing trainer Bruno Lino.
Our partners had the opportunity to increase their proficiency in using technology in the classroom. They practiced necessary skills divided into fourteen modules to use MOOC platforms to run online courses and produce a sample e-lesson according to their background.
Topics: ICT – new technologies – digital competencies; Key Competencies (incl. mathematics and
literacy) – basic skills; Open and distance learning.
In addition, throughout that week, our partners had the opportunity to go on cultural tours in Lisbon, which was a satisfying experience. In the end, we parted ways with a sense of accomplishment and are ready for the next challenge!
All partner organisations contributed to IO2 – Framework for a Curriculum, coordinated by Europseak, by carrying out research on the most effective and frequently used professional English curricula aimed at boosting employability in partner countries. The partners gathered and analysed examples of best practices, case studies and professional English curricula offered in their national and regional territories.
This research was the basis for the production, by Eurospeak, of a framework for a professional English curriculum that will, in turn, serve as the basis for the development of an e-course aimed at boosting employability across EU. The framework was translated into Romanian, Greek, Portuguese and Spanish and includes the following modules:
